@Lisa – yes, you can plug your iPhone and sync with iTunes without any problem. The only thing is that you should never show that your iPhone is jailbroken to an Apple employee or else, it will void you warranty. If you ever have a problem with your iPhone and need to return it, simply restore your iPhone in iTunes prior to taking it to Apple.

Thanks for motivating me to jailbreak my iphone, I did and I’m never looking back. Except under one condition which I’m still unsure about. Can I plug my iphone into my computer with itunes running or will Apple detect that I jailbroke my phone. What happens if I happen to really mess things up, will AT&T shun me for doing this?

Greatness! I just purchased an iPhone myself and was wondering about jailbreaking it. Would you suggest it? I’m currently on the fence myself as I don’t want to mess anything up. Can a true noobie do it?

Hello Daddy,

Yes, you can tether your iPhone and use it as a modem. It is against AT&T TOS, but who cares?
