CB Stats: ClickBank iPhone App Review

Ever wanted to check out your ClickBank accounts on the go? If so, you probably know what a pain in the ass it is, especially if you try to access multiple accounts. There is a new iPhone app available in the App Store called CB Stats that will allow you to check multiple ClickBank accounts in no time. It’s good, it’s fast, and it does exactly what it’s supposed to. But there’s still a few features missing.

Before using CB Stats, I used 1password to access my ClickBank accounts because it allowed me to easily store my passwords. It was just a workaround as it wasn’t really straightforward and was kinda cumbersome.

CB Stats made clickbank accounts management easy. Launch the app and add the login information for up to 5 accounts and that’s it. Now everytime you launch the app, it will load the daily revenues for your different accounts for the last 2 weeks.

This is truly a very usefull application. I think what I like the most about this CB Stats is how fast it is. It usually takes 2-3 seconds to load the data, whether on wifi or 3G.

It is very simple. Maybe too simple… Like I said, I like this app, but I’d expect a little more from it…

First, I’d like to be able to store the login info for more than 5 accounts. Most power affiliates or publishers that do business on ClickBank have more than 5 accounts. I personally have only five but I plan to create a new account sometimes this weekend. I think you should be able to have unlimited accounts.

Also I’d like to be able to go from account to account just by swiping my finger across the screen, just like you do to swipe to the next picture on the iPhone. Right now, you have to tap the account number at the top and the numbers are so small that I sometimes tap the wrong one. Not a big deal but it’s another simple improvement that could be made.

Another feature that I would expect to see is the total weekly revenues for the last 4 weeks, like the web version. Finally, I’d like to be able to view paychecks history.

CB Stats sells for $9.99 (download link) and I think that given the lack of features, it’s a little expensive. Now if the developer decided to add new features like the ones described above, that would be way worth the 10 bucks. At any rates, CB Stats is the best ClickBank iPhone application in the App Store at the time.

  1. If you’re looking basic daily totals then CB Stats will do the job. I use iBusiness Stats (http://www.ibusinessstats.com) I get pretty much all the same reports as you get by logging in to clickbank via web browser. Supports CJ and a few CPA networks as well.

  2. I tried it and it has potential. Unfortunately it doesn’t deliver. I have added 5 accounts and it only loads one (if that). Sometimes it will open just one of my accounts, sometimes it will open none. It just shows blank info.
Too bad because it has all the features I want. It’s currently on the last page of my iPhone apps screen, waiting for an update to fix this.
Oh, and one other thing. It’s pretty slow compared to cb stats.

  3. As we state on the app, if the accounts don’t load you probably need to login directly to Clickbank to view a CB system message for each account. Those messages block out the stats until viewed.

I check multiple accounts daily and on occasion it might not connect with Clickbank the first time, we will see about debugging and speeding it up though.

The app takes a couple extra seconds to do calculations for the weekly stats and load transactions, so it might be a tad slower than CB Stats, but it’s loading and compiling more useful data.

    Appreciate the feedback.

  4. My bad, I hadn’t seen that I was supposed to login via the web. But you are right. After logging in and agreeing to the new message on CB, all my accounts are now working fine.

If I may suggest…. Instead of loading everything at launch of the app for an account, why don’t you just load the “daily” revenue. Then automatically, while the user checks his daily revenue, update “weekly” and “paycheck” in the background. I think it would speed things up a bit.

    Great app!

  6. i am using both Clickbank and infolinks ads on my website. Clicbank generates more money than infolinks but your website should be getting lots of us traffic.

  8. It is certainly a good news to me. I did not know that CitiBank have such an app for the iPhone user. I need to check whether it is available in my country or not. How good if it is and I hope the network security also good too. Good post and thanks for the insight.

  9. I love the app… do you also have a script that would email me when someone signs up under my link code? I hope you don’t mind coz I just bookmarked your site and so you’ll see me here quite often. Cheers!
